“I will get us across the line in whatever way I can,” says Benedict Cumberbatch’s Dominic Cummings—the political advisor and strategist behind the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union.

“Meet the man who changed everything,” Channel 4 says in presenting its trailer for Brexit: The Uncivil War. The two-hour drama focuses on the 2016 Vote Leave campaign.

“At a time when explosive revelations about the mining of personal data and the corrosive effect of fake news and micro-targeted advertising through social media feeds are at the forefront of the news agenda, Brexit explores how modern data-driven campaigning techniques contributed to one of the most unexpected, highly-charged and controversial decisions in modern political history,” says Channel 4.

Brexit also stars Rory Kinnear, John Heffernan, Richard Goulding, Paul Ryan, Liz White and Oliver Maltman. It’s written by James Graham (Quiz, Ink) and directed by Toby Haynes (Black Mirror, Sherlock).

Brexit premieres January 7 at 9 p.m. on Channel 4, and January 19 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
