Friends’ first episode aired nearly 20 years ago. Though we miss them, Warner Bros. and Eight O’Clock Coffee have found a way to bring back just a piece of the beloved series with the fictional coffee shop Central Perk.
In honor of the show’s episode titles, they’re calling it “The One with the Free Coffee,” and opening up a month-long pop-up coffee shop in Manhattan that looks identical to the show’s fictional hangout Central Perk. The site in SoHo opens up Sept. 17 and will offer free Eight O’Clock Coffee, including a Central Perk Roast to celebrate the show’s anniversary.
The faux Central Perk also features props from the show, photo ops on the signature orange couch, opportunities for fans to win prizes and giveaways, even appearances by Friends’ favorite barista Gunther.

The coffee shop will be open from Sept. 17 through Oct. 18, open each day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Lafayette Street in SoHo. [Images courtesy of Warner Bros.]
