FX on Friday unveiled the trailer for season two its Sons of Anarchy spinoff series, Mayans M.C.

Season two finds prospect Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (JD Pardo) and his brother Angel (Clayton Cardenas) struggling to reconcile as they search for the truth behind their mother’s death.

That’s until EZ drops a bomb that may change everything for Angel and the gunslinging biker gang.

“It’s about mom,” he says. “I know who killed her.”

The trailer—released ahead of the series’ San Diego Comic-Con panel—also previews the blowback, bloodshed and betrayal the Mayans M.C. charter will face throughout the sophomore season.

“We’ve hit an ugly bump,” the Mayans president tells his club. “We gotta do something…or we lose everything.”

The series—which bowed in September as 2019’s highest-rated new cable series in Live+3—comes from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter. It’s executive produced by co-creator Elgin James, Sutter and Kevin Dowling.

The 10-episode second season launches Sept. 3 on FX.
