Having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, Ash (Bruce Campbell) now discovers he has a long lost daughter in season three of Ash vs. Evil Dead.
“Sandy? Mandy? … We’re still getting to know each other,” he says in the trailer.
Actually, it’s Brandy, played by Arielle Carver-O’Neill.
But evil, of course, gets in the way of their family reunion as a supernatural war is brewing.
Lucy Lawless is back as Ruby as she devises her most diabolical plan yet to defeat Ash and raise hell on earth. Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, and returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo (Ray Santiago) that evil isn’t done with them yet.
Ash faces “the final test,” in the Starz’s trailer, leaving fans to speculate if it means this will be the final season of the series.
Lindsay Farris (Home and Away, Primal), also joins the cast in season three as Dalton, leader of an ancient order called the Knights of Sumeria, who seek Ash to lead their fight against The Dark Ones. And Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man) returns as Brock Williams to warn Ash from beyond the grave.
Sam Raimi serves as executive producer along with with Rob Tapert (Evil Dead, Spartacus, Xena: Warrior Princess), Campbell, Ivan Raimi (Drag Me To Hell, Spider-Man 3) and Rick Jacobson (Spartacus). Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica, Daredevil) serves as executive producer and showrunner.
