​Forget Big Brother and America’s Got Talent for a minute and take a look just a bit further down the Nielsen rankings. Are these the most under-appreciated shows in summer TV?

MediaLife Magazine took a look at the workhorses of the summer TV schedule that they say don’t get the media buzz, but are definitely critical to their network’s success.

At ABC, that honor goes to Rookie Blue because “it’s long been the network’s top summer scripted series.”

NBC’s entry on the list belongs to Hollywood Game Night for “consistent ratings no matter where NBC moves it.”

Brief Take: If these shows are performing consistently without big marketing campaigns, networks might want to imagine what might happen with an extra promo push.
