Prepare thyself for the end times.
Amazon released the first full-length trailer for its new series Good Omens, showcasing Queen, hellhounds, angels, demons, an abundance of bickering, and…the end of the world.
The spot, developed by creative advertising agency AV Squad, offers a glimpse to the adventure to come in the six-episode limited series. Based on the 1990 Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett novel of the same name, it centers around Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant), two hereditary enemies who “have nothing whatsoever in common.”
But the Biblical duo—who are having too nice a time living on Earth—have more in common than they think. They must join forces to find an 11-year-old Antichrist, prevent the four horsemen of the Apocalypse from unleashing havoc, and save the world.
The series also stars John Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, and Michael McKean, in addition to Benedict Cumberbatch and Brian Cox who will lend their voices as Satan and Death, respectively.
Good Omens premieres May 31 on Amazon Prime Video.
