In honor of Earth Day on April 22, the ABC Owned Television Stations, in collaboration with National Geographic, produced Branching Out: A Nat Geo Earth Day Adventure. The three-episode series features ABC News Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee and her family – husband Ben Aaron, host of Nat Geo’s Science of Stupid, and the couple’s two sons – as they go on an eco-adventure that involves climbing ancient trees, camping in an above-ground tent, kayaking and more.

Each episode takes the family on another excursion, looking at forests, farms and the oceans to discover new ways to help improve the environment.
