Gold, silver, and bronze Awards were handed out in categories that honor everything from multi-platform campaigns, to comedy and telenovela promos, to key art and copywriting.

Guido M. Lubel of Turner International Argentina was named best new talent, recognizing a new producer or marketer with two years or less experience in promotion or marketing who is already creating outstanding work.

Wednesday’s ceremony at the New World Center in Miami Beach was hosted by Roxanne Vargas of NBC 6 South Florida.

A jury of creative leaders from across the region met in Buenos Aires, Sao Paolo, and Miami in September to review the finalists and select the gold, silver and bronze winners in each category.

Three veteran executives from Latin America served as jury chairs this year:

Buenos Aires Jury chair Federico Cuervo, Vicepresidente senior de marcas de entretenimiento; Viacom International Media Networks Americas (Buenos Aires), Maria Maligo, Diretora de marketing canais A&E/History/H2/Lifetime (Sao Paolo): and Vilma Ortiz, Director of Creative Services and On-Air, Latin America, AMC Networks (Miami).

The PromaxBDA Latin America Awards are one of 11 regional competitions around the world that precede the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards celebration each year at the organization’s annual conference in June.
