In no particular order, below are 10 of the spots that Brief fell in love with in 2013.

ITV - Where Drama Lives

The U.K.‘s ITV presents its new brand campaign for drama using a collection of the channel’s most recognizable characters, walking through a house with characters from this century and last. The promo effortlessly blends its current dramas with its period pieces, meeting each character in rooms as if they belong there.

Fox Channels ‘The Fox’

That song that nobody could get out of their heads this year got a Fox rendition that was just too good to pass up. For a network promo, Fox enlisted its new and returning primetime stars to help create a new online sensation in Ylvis’ “The Fox” on Fox.

Quick cuts from new shows are included with popular primetime faces singing along with “The Fox,” some of whom are decked out in animal costumes to help with the theme. Taking advantage of the original video’s YouTube popularity, Fox created the video below.

Cartoon Network Celebrates Summer with Some Help from Around the World

For its international summer ident, Cartoon Network approached six different studios and artists for help. Each was given 10 seconds of music, four different colors and some time.

Alex Grigg, Eamonn O’Neill, Impactist, leCRCR, Rubber House & Awesome Inc. all worked on the animation with the many Cartoon Network characters at their disposal and the end result is a summer ident worthy of the name. It is bright, cheerful, upbeat and represents Cartoon Network as a brand beautifully. The technique was probably a risk, but the 60 seconds of video Cartoon Network got out of it was well worth any nail biting.

Summer by Bravo 2013

“Bravolebrities” all pitch in after getting stranded on a Summer by Bravo desert island in this year’s “Summer by Bravo.” Never to disappoint, Bravo’s well-known faces like Padma Lakshmi, Andy Cohen and the Shahs of Sunset make the best of their new surroundings with some grub, design and a cocktail or two.
