History’s third season of historical drama Vikings is back Thursday, Feb. 19, and the fighting has not yet subsided.

The 10-episode third season was renewed early in 2014 while the show was only starting its second run. History’s first big scripted project earned more than 6 million viewers in its first season premiere.

Ragnar, now King Ragnar, has a lot more on his plate this season as betrayal and a French invasion are possibilities: “We fight. That is how we win, and that is how we die.”
