Aston Kutcher’s MTV celebrity prank show has found a new home at fellow Viacom network BET, the channel announced at its upfront presentation Thursday.

BET has added a new version of Punk’d to its schedule, along with a sitcom for singer Brandy Norwood and a singing competition from Kelly Rowland. No talent has been announced for the new iteration of Punk’d, with the original series ending almost a decade ago with Kutcher as host. The cable net did say, however, that the new show would be specially tailored for its audience.

Docuseries About The Business, Criminals at Work, Desean Jackson: Home Team and Ludacris’ The Label have also been added to BET’s slate, with news specials about MuhammadAli, the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the 20th anniversary of the O.J. Simpson trial.

“Black consumers experience BET Networks differently than any other network because of our 35 years of history, tremendous experience and insight,” said BET Networks chairman and CEO Debra Lee.

Arts channel Ovation also presented its plans on Thursday, with a total of eight new series and specials in the works.

Isabella Rossellini’s Green Porno Live! plays on the popularity of avant-garde artist Rossellini. The documentary special goes behind-the-scenes of her one-woman show based on her Green Porno short-film series.

On the Record With Mick Rock follows the photographer as he tours the hometown of a musical guest each week. Ovation also added art series The Art of, Art Breakers and The Da Vinci List, a top-10 countdown series featuring the best talents of each genre, from chefs to musicians.

Lastly, comedian and TV personality Dave Holmes will host a show called American Canvas, where he will explore historic and creative communities each episode.

Holmes is also slated to speak at PromaxBDA: The Conference 2015, June 9-11 in Los Angeles, in a session called “Promoting Promos.” See more speaker information and register at promaxbda.org.
