April marks the sophomore season debut of HBO’s Westworld, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and FX’s Legion, along with the premieres of new and returning series—many of which explore the depths of time and space.
ABC’s The Crossing tells the story of 47 refugees from a war-torn country 180 years in the future, who wash up ont he beach of a small fishing town in Oregon.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s Lost in Space reboot is set in the future where colonization in space is a reality, and focuses on the Robinson family. They are among those selected to make a new life for themselves in a better world, but find themselves abruptly torn off course.
Also set in space, Earth and Mars are on the brink of war in Syfy’s The Expanse. War is also brewing in The CW’s The 100, as multiple factions batte over a single green valley—the last survivable land on Earth.
