CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the show that made forensics cool again and made an all new generation fans of The Who, is airing its very last episode on Sunday, Sept. 27.
The show was cancelled this spring, but got the time to tie up storylines and bring a few familiar faces back for its two-hour finale event.
But before everyone sets out to watch this “one last case,” revisit some of the past seasons that made CSI so big.
Season 1: Meet Grissom and his Las Vegas crime scene crew in the first episode, which aired in 2000.
Theme song: If you know CSI, you know its opening credits. Take one last look at The Who’s opening credits for season one.
Season 10: Jumping ahead a bit, season 10 sees a few changes in the cast from season one, with some big events affecting the team.
CSI Trilogy: Then there was that magical crossover event that brought the teams from CSI, CSI: New York and CSI: Miami together, thereby bringing together Laurence Fishburne, David Caruso and Gary Sinise.
Season 13: When Ted Danson joined the cast, the CSI opening also got a slight update, but with the same old classic theme song.
Finale: Grissom and Willows rejoin the CSI crew for one big case on Sunday, Sept. 27, for CSI’s series finale event on CBS.
Join the cast in one last farewell toast:
