Showtime unveiled a behind the series featurette of the upcoming six-part limited event series Guerrilla, premiering April 16.

The clip includes series stars Freida Pinto (Jas Mitra), Babou Ceesay (Marcus Hill) and Idris Elba (Kent) who each talk about the series’ significance along with creator and executive producer John Ridley.

Guerrilla also stars Daniel Mays as Inspector Cullen and Rory Kinnear as Chief Inspector Pence.

“At no given point in the time is one person a hero or the antihero,” says Pinto as violent scenes from the series play in the nearly 3-minute clip.

The series is a love story about a normal couple that become revolutionaries set against the backdrop of a politically explosive time in 1970s London. It tells the story of a couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell. Their ultimate target becomes the Black Power Desk, a true-life, secretive counter-intelligence unit within the Special Branch dedicated to crushing all forms of black activism. And is a notable moment in U.K. history.

Showtime also revealed key art for the series.

Along with Ridley and Elba, other executive producers for the series are Michael J. McDonald for Stearns Castle, Patrick Spence and Katie Swinden for Fifty Fathoms and Tracy Underwood for ABC Signature.

Guerrilla premieres Sunday, April 16 at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
