Forget the flesh-eating zombies at every corner—Morgan (Lennie James) is just trying to make the world a better place.

He and the gang are back for the new season of Fear the Walking Dead, premiering June 2 on AMC. After five long seasons, the body count only continues to rise; however, the group of survivors are determined to “open the door to people, possibility, and the hurt that will happen” in order to salvage what’s left of the apocalyptic world.

At the end of the four-minute trailer, released over the weekend at Wondercon in Anaheim, Calif., we also see a familiar face from The Walking Dead: Dwight, whose fate was left unknown after his last appearance on the show’s eighth season.
