“C’mon man, you gotta get the name right,” Jimmy Kimmel tells the barista who calls out a latte for Timmy, just as he comes to terms with the truth of that statement.

That’s when another employee morphs into a giant Oscar statuette—yet another haunting reminder of last year’s snafu when La La Land was mistakenly revealed as best picture, followed moments later by the announcement that Moonlight was in fact the winner.

“You know, I dream about it every night,” Kimmel says in a promo for the 2018 Oscars ceremony. “The worst part is, they want me to do it again.”

Kimmel will return to host the event on Sunday, March 4 at 8 p.m. EST, a half hour earlier than previous years.

ABC has leaned into the 2017 error, with key art featuring the tagline “What could possibly go wrong,” and ABC President Channing Dungey telling reporters at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that it would be silly not to poke a little fun at it.

Kimmel does just that as he recounts the trauma of not being able to open the mail piling up outside his door, and his futile attempts to put the past behind him, all while lying on a couch talking to his therapist … who turns out to not be his therapist at all.
