Keith Cox is expected to be named president of development and production for Paramount Network, a rebranded version of Viacom’s Spike TV, according to Variety.

In Cox’s new role, he will become president of development and programming for both Paramount Network and TV Land, reporting to Viacom’s Global Entertainment Group President Kevin Kay.

Earlier in February, Viacom’s CEO Bob Bakish unveiled a new strategy for the company which will focus on six key channels: MTV, BET, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Spike TV, which is to be rebranded to Paramount Network, and will become a general-entertainment network.

Sharon Levy, Spike TV’s executive vice president of original series, will exit Viacom after being with the media company for 11 years. Levy developed series such as Lip Sync Battle, Ink Master and Bar Rescue.

Cox was promoted to president of development and production for TV Land in September 2016 from his role as EVP. Before that, the network exec served as EVP of comedy and alternative development for The WB.
