​Nat Geo WILD kicked off its clever, self-aware SharkFest campaign last week with a very clear message: We know there’s already Shark Week, and we’re fine with that.

In its next piece of the campaign, Shark on the Street (above), Nat Geo WILD takes it one step further, going out in Washington, D.C. to meet the people and make sure they know which shark programming to watch this summer.

#SharkontheStreet tells shark jokes, searches for some good shark food like pho with sea lion, calls people “fintastic” and takes no responsibility for a shark bite.

SharkFest kicks off on Nat Geo WILD July 5-9.
