ESPN Creative Studio’s Andrew Truong and Genta Nakahara shed light on what is happening in the Asian community — an issue personal to both of them – via the above public service announcement (PSA).

Truong and Nakahara created the PSA with the intention of authentically and appropriately addressing this issue. The spot features audio that celebrates Asian athletes including snowboarder Chloe Kim, golfer Hideki Matsuyama, basketball player Jeremy Lin, mixed martial artist Zhang Weili and boxer Manny Pacquiao. The spot uses simple on-screen messaging as well as additional voiceovers from ESPN talent Mina Kimes and Pablo Torre, among others.

The 30-second version of the spot will run across ESPN linear networks. The 60-second version will run on digital platforms, including Hulu.
