TV Land is pulling Dukes of Hazzard episodes in the wake of the rising debate surrounding the Confederate flag.

The flag, which tops the famous General Lee car for which the show is well known, has sparked more controversy than usual lately, following the racially motivated murders in Charleston, S.C. In recent weeks, locals looked to legislators to remove the flag from government buildings where it has stood since the 1800s.

TV Land only just started airings Dukes of Hazzard reruns, adding two episodes per day to the network’s schedule starting June 10. It has yet to announce whether the show is gone permanently.

TV Land is one of several brands lately to distance itself from the Confederate flag. Warner Bros. will no longer license toy models of the General Lee, as retailers including Walmart, Amazon and eBay have stopped selling any merchandise with the flag or its design.
