“Don’t become a monster,” Daredevil is told in Netflix’s trailer for season three.
The Marvel show picks up after the end of The Defenders. Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, questioning his future and his identities as both as vigilante and a lawyer.
But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, he must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero—even as Fisk tries to turn the world against him.
“Daredevil is our true public enemy,” he says in the trailer.
The cast also includes Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Joanne Whalley (Sister Maggie), Wilson Bethel (Benjamin Poindexter) and Jay Ali (Rahul “Ray” Nadeem).
Erik Oleson (The Man in the High Castle) serves as showrunner and executive producer.
Marvel’s Daredevil premieres October 19 on Netflix.
