Two groups of strangers have to come together and build a 1,000-foot bridge with nothing but their bare hands, primitive tools and limited supplies in HBO Max’s original reality series, The Bridge. As they struggle in difficult conditions to finish the bridge, they learn that only one of them can come home with the prize of £250,000, creating strife, stress and fractures.
Hosted by AJ Odudu (BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, Channel 4’s Married At First Sight: Afters), the new season is set in Vietnam’s scenic Ha Long Bay with Aldo Kane (Disney Plus’ OceanXplorers and Welcome To Earth) serving as “adventure expert.”
Based on Spanish reality series El Puente, originally produced by Zeppelin (part of Banijay Iberia), The Bridge is an HBO Max original co-produced with Workerbee, a Banijay company, for the UK’s Channel 4. The series is executive produced by Jon Cahn, Michelle Chappell and Rick Murray.
Season two of The Bridge starts streaming with all eight episodes on Thursday, June 30 on HBO Max.
