A minute-long spot by creative agency The Shop uses a custom music track and strong, concise storytelling to showcase A&E’s true crime docuseries Akil The Fugitive Hunter.

The show is narrated by Wood Harris and follows real-life superhero and bounty hunter Akil Muhammad who “fights to keep the streets safe.”

“We need guys like Akil,” Harris says in the trailer. “He’s the best at catching the bad guys, because he was one.”

Muhammad has devoted his life to hunting down criminals after growing up on the streets and nearly becoming one himself.

“For Akil,” Harris says, “it’s about setting things right.”
