Los Angeles-based Yu+Co mashed up a vintage New York vibe with old-school vision boards, complete with magazine cut-outs, for the main titles of Netflix’s original movie, The Perfect Find. The sequence, which leads right into the film, is accompanied by Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong singing “You Can’t Lose a Broken Heart.”

Based on the novel by Tia Williams, The Perfect Find stars Gabrielle Union as Jenna, a woman who suddenly finds she has to rebuild her life after a public breakup and high-profile firing. The movie also stars Gina Torres as Jenna’s demanding boss, Darcy, and Keith Powers as Darcy’s son and Jenna’s coworker, Eric, as well as Aisha Hinds, DB Woodside, Janet Hubert and Alani “La La” Anthony. It’s directed by Numa Perrier from a screenplay by Leigh Davenport and produced by Glendon Palmer, Union, Jeff Morrone, Codie Elaine Oliver and Tommy Oliver.

The Perfect Find debuts soon on Netflix.
