YouTube has announced its own streaming TV service.
The company made the announcement Tuesday in Los Angeles, releasing a live service with all four major networks: ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, along with dozens of other big cable channels for $35 a month, according to the YouTube blog.
The service will exist as a standalone app and will mix online video found on YouTube with live-streams of broadcast and cable television programming.
The monthly subscription price of YouTube TV covers six accounts, and each member of a household can have a personalized account that offers recommendations tailored to their tastes. Subscribers can watch up to three concurrent streams at a time.
Subscribers also will have access to a cloud DVR with no storage limits and YouTube Red Original series and movies.
According to Variety, popular channels such as CNN, TBS, TNT, Comedy Central and MTV are not included. Also, Showtime is listed as an add-on option, while HBO is not.
Here are all the channels that will be initially available with the $35 monthly YouTube TV subscription:

YouTube TV is part of a surge in over-the-top (OTT) services. The latest service rivals DirecTV Now, Sling TV and Hulu’s coming offering. All of these are trying to woo consumers who have never subscribed to traditional pay television.
