The nine-person broadcast booth took some getting used to but the professionals at YES Network have found their groove just in time for baseball season.

“Nine innings, nine players, nine in the booth? It makes perfect sense to me,” says Yankees’ American League Rookie of the Year Aaron Judge.

YES’ spring campaign stars the network’s Yankees broadcasting team, including former players Paul O’Neill, David Cone, Ken Singleton and John Flaherty. It also includes cameos by Yankees GM Brian Cashman, current Yankees Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Didi Gregorius, CC Sabathia, Brett Gardner and Greg Bird, and Yankees great Tino Martinez.

The campaign will span both linear and digital platforms, with the linear offerings consisting of a 60-second spot and various 30s and 10s. Digitally, YES Network plans to distribute all of the same spots as well as a mockumentary (a la This Is Spinal Tap) and an extra-long “making of” spot, via its Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram accounts. The network’s marketing team also plans to run a 10-episode Instagram series, as it did last year, as well as producing additional digital content, such as GIFs and memes.
