Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer trying to discover the truth of what really lies outside of a silo that houses Earth’s last 10,000 people a mile below ground in Apple TV Plus’ new original series, Silo, based on the New York Times-bestselling trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey.
Los Angeles-based Wild Card Creative Group produced the series’ official trailer, which premiered Thursday.
Besides Ferguson (Mission Impossible, Dune), who also executive produces, Silo stars Oscar-winner Common (The Chi), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), David Oyelowo (Selma), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Oscar winner Tim Robbins (Mystic River), playing the creepy leader of the underground colony.
Silo is produced for Apple TV Plus by AMC Studios and is executive produced by Graham Yost (Justified), Howey and Ferguson, alongside Morten Tyldum (Defending Jacob, The Imitation Game) who also directs the first three episodes. Nina Jack, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon and Ingrid Escajeda also executive produce.
Silo debuts with the series’ first two episodes on Friday, May 5, followed by one new episode each week through Friday, June 30.
