February is the shortest, darkest month of the year—not to mention we’ve all been staying home for almost a year now—so TV really needs to step up its game this month.

Fortunately, the small screen seems to have it covered with everything from big events—Super Bowl LV and the Golden Globes—to big reality shows—season four of American Idol on ABC—to new dramas, comedies and limited series. Production stalled in Los Angeles but it’s hard to tell things have slowed from the constant flow of content that Hollywood keeps churning out.

Here’s what Brief will be watching in February:

February 3: Netflx’s Firefly Lane, based on Kristin Hannah’s best-selling book and starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke

February 7: Super Bowl LV on CBS: Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs

February 7: CBS’ The Equalizer, starring Queen Latifah

February 12: FX’s Hip Hop Uncovered

February 14: ABC’s American Idol (season 4 premiere)

February 14: Starz’ The Luminaries (new series)

February 14: Starz’ Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham

February 16: NBC’s Kenan (new series)

February 18: HBO Max’s It’s A Sin (new limited series)

February 23: The CW’s Superman & Lois (new drama series)

February 24: FX’s Snowfall (season 4 premiere)

February 28: AMC’s The Walking Dead (season 10B premiere, premiering Feb. 25 on AMC+)

February 28: The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC
