Pandemic or no, August is traditionally not a big time for TV premieres. It’s the dog days of summer and viewers are enjoying vacations and fall TV is just around the corner. This year, besides production being shut down since March, the Republican and Democratic National (virtual conventions) are on the docket and any network that has content ready to go is holding it for September.

All that said, there are still a few things we plan to watch this month
