The post-pandemic glut of great content keeps coming in April, starting with Apple TV Plus’ Slow Horses, starring Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott Thomas and based on Mick Herron’s spy novels and running through the return of The Kardashians (yes, they actually left for a while) all the way to Starz’ starry Gaslit, starring Julia Roberts and an unrecognizable Sean Penn.
One great series begins the end of its run: AMC’s Better Call Saul, while two others—HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant and HBO’s Barry—finally make their returns.
And several more shows debut that draw from history to tell their tales, including Showtime’s The First Lady, FX’s Under the Banner of Heaven and Starz’ Gaslit.
