Oh, to be young in the ‘80s…
Netflix finally unveiled the full trailer for the long-awaited followup to the cult hit Wet Hot American Summer.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp stars the same cast as the original, only now they’re supposed to be younger on their first day as camp counselors and staff. The trailer also introduces a few new faces including Kristen Wiig, Jordan Peele, John Slattery, Michael Cera, Josh Charles, Weird Al Yankovic and Jon Hamm.
The trailer (above) was released along with these guidelines for Camp Firewood:
- Remember to wear suntan lotion.
- It’s totally normal to cry on the first night of camp.
- The sign up sheet for archery is posted on the target. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE SIGNING UP FOR ARCHERY!
- Poison ivy is real.
- Also, all new counselors, please report immediately for orientation and a mandatory STD check.
Key art thankfully centers on Paul Rudd’s character riding in on his motorcycle for his first day at camp:
