“Since I was a child, I’ve always loved a good story,” says Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) as the season finale promo for HBO’s Westworld opens on a cinematic scene of the park.
“Stories help us become the people we’ve dreamed of being” foreshadows Ford over a clip of Dolores and the Man in Black walking through a graveyard. “Lives that told a deeper truth,” he continues.
“I always thought I could play some small part in that grand tradition. And for my pains, I got this…my new narrative,” finishes Ford.

The promo for Westworld’s finale reveals some of the violence to come showing quick clips of upcoming scenes teasing the fates of Dolores, the Man in Black, Maeve, Robert Ford, William, and Logan.
Although episode nine answered one major mystery of Westworld by revealing who killed Arnold, there are still many questions to be answered.
“These violent delights have violent ends,” promises Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) as the promo closes, suggesting that at least some of the remaining mysteries of the park will be revealed in the finale.
The season finale of Westworld premieres on HBO on December 4.
