Growing Up Hip Hop follows the lives of hip-hop legend’s children and the paths they carve for themselves in the hip-hop industry. After a drama-filled first season, season two continues to live up to the show’s reputation, returning with unforeseen circumstances that will push the new hip-hop generation into adulthood.

The second season reconvenes the group for a celebration, specifically André King’s birthday party. But after the fun-filled start of the season, the group soon starts facing interesting new challenges while they each try to create a name for themselves. Although each has the hip-hop industry connections most people can only dream of, they’ll soon learn that life, love, and family play a critical role in the creation of a legacy.

Growing Up Hip Hop season two premieres on WE tv on October 13 at 9 pm.
