Lifetime’s series of original movies continues through the summer, now with “Outlaw Prophet: Warren Jeffs,” slated to premiere June 28.

Lifetime is billing the movie as “true story of the fundamentalist Mormon leader who spent more than a year on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted List.” It is based on Stephen Singular’s “When Men Become Gods,” which follows the life of Warren Jeffs from his rise to power to getting into trouble with the FBI for illegal marriages involving underage girls, later being sentenced to life in prison.

“Scandal’s” Tony Goldwyn plays Jeffs, with “House of Cards” and “Fargo” actresses Molly Parker and Joey King in leading roles.
