Even though their friend Zeke has just been murdered, Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.), Monet Stewart Tejada (Mary J. Blige), Brayden Weston (Gianni Paolo) and Lorenzo, Cane, Dru and Diane Tejada (Berto Colon, Woody McCalin, Lovell Adams-Gray and LaToya Tonodeo) have to level up or get taken down in season three of Starz’ Power Book II: Ghost.

All Tariq wants is to get back to his family and get out of the game for good. He’s working on Wall Street but the lure of fast cash through drug sales – and the realization that Wall Street presents him with an entirely new customer base – interrupts Tariq’s plans to go straight, instead putting him and his gang back in business with the Tejadas.

Meanwhile, the matriarch of the Tejada family, Monet (Mary J. Blige), is grieving her son Zeke and working with Davis MacLean (Cliff “Method Man” Smith) to avenge his death while keeping the feds off her trail.

Business is booming for Tariq and his cohorts when he has to reckon with a betrayal and a R.I.C.O. investigation into the entire drug enterprise, which pulls him deeper into the business he had been wanting to escape and closer to his father’s legacy.

The series also stars Alix Lapri as Effie Morales and Paton Ashbrook as Jenni Sullivan. Joining the cast this season are Monqiue Curnen, Keesha Sharp, David Walton and Moriah Brown.
