VH1 unveiled a new slate of programming Wednesday that features a heavy rotation of pop stars, rappers, and DNA tests.

The network’s new programming czar, VP Susan Levison, told The Hollywood Reporter that the goal of the new lineup is “to bring a general market audience back into the fold in addition to serving our African-American audience.”

Among the new entries: “I Heart Nick Carter,” which takes a closer look at the former Backstreet Boy’s engagement to Lauren Kitt.

“Swab Stories,” follows the owner of the “Who’s Your Daddy” mobile DNA testing service in NYC as he tests people in various neighborhoods.

“Walk of Shame Shuttle,” is a sort of “Taxicab Confessions” for the coed set, following an entrepreneur who has started a shuttle service offering college kids a more discrete way to get home after a night of questionable decisions.

“This is Hot 97” will take viewers inside New York’s No.1 hip-hop radio station, known for its colorful personalities and the brawls that sometimes happen inside and out front.

“White Girls of Rap” is a Ryan Seacrest Productions docu-series that tells the stories of five up-and-coming white, female rappers.
