Veronica Mars is back on the case. But this time, she’s prepping for spring break in Neptune—a stint that requires her familiar wit, camera and taser.

Hulu made the announcement on Twitter, along with a short teaser that gives a rundown of everything Mars expects throughout the investigation. We also learn that the noir mystery drama will return this summer.

“Spring break in Neptune. That means drunks, derelicts, flashers, frat boys, sorority vomit, pickpockets, bottomless drinks and topless dancers, street scum and beach bums. And that’s just the walk to my car,” Mars says with a smirk. “Fortunately, I’m good to go.”

Set in the fictional city of Neptune, Calif., Kristen Bell returns as the quick-witted private investigator who’s hired to look into the murder of spring breaker. The revival takes place after the 2014 fan-funded movie and 12 years after the show was canceled by the CW after three seasons.

Aside from Bell, Jason Dohring, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Francis Capra, Ryan Hansen, Max Greenfield, Ryan Devlin and Max Greenfield will reprise their roles. Dawnn Lewis, Patton Oswalt, J.K. Simmons, Tyler Alvarez and Mary McDonnell will join the series as newcomers.

All eight episodes premiere July 26 on Hulu.
