Vedia Ayvaz has joined Comedy Central as senior vice president, brand creative, said Josh Line, executive vice president, marketing and creative, to whom she will report.

In her new role, Ayvaz will lead Comedy Central’s in-house creative team, overseeing the development of all branding and marketing creative across all of the network’s platforms. She comes to Comedy Central from A+E Networks, where she was vice president, head of creative for 45th & Dean.

Those skills are critical to the evolution of our work as we continue to develop big, innovative ideas that push the creative boundaries of traditional promotion. She will have a crucial leadership role at Comedy Central, ensuring our creative output remains industry-leading and is delivered with a distinct and consistent voice.”

At digital studio 45th & Dean, Ayvaz led teams creating short-form branded and original content for all of A+E’s brands, including A&E, History, Lifetime and FYI. She also led development of the Facebook Watch series Bae or Bail, which has more than 55 million views, as well as Snapchat’s first unscripted series, Second Chance, and multiple shows on YouTube, including Chloe Does It!

Prior to that, Ayvaz was vice president, brand marketing and creative for FYI and Lifetime Movie Networks, where she led the creative execution, production, and development of brand marketing and promo assets for both networks and their affiliates across linear and digital platforms. She also spent 15 years as a creative lead for multiple major media brands, including Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, Lifetime, Syfy, USA, and Showtime.
