NBCU’s USA Network made it clear in its upfront presentation on Tuesday that original programming is its weapon of choice in the fight over millennial audiences.

These new original projects include a drama set in 1940s Hollywood, a tale of an aspiring architect from Twilight’s Catherine Hardwicke and a spy thriller from Rob Reiner. A total of nine new original series will be added to the USA lineup throughout 2015-16.

The cable net also added WWE SmackDown, an event previously on Syfy, which will make USA the official cable home for WWE properties, joining Monday Night Raw and the competition series WWE Tough Enough.

Based on its unscripted series Chrisley Knows Best, USA is in development for a late-night show hosted by family patriarch Todd Chrisley, as well as a spinoff of the family show.

Returning shows this summer Royal Pains, Suits, Graceland and Playing House will join new, but previously announced series Complications, from the creator of Burn Notice, and Mr. Robot, a tech thriller about a programmer-turned-hacker.

Complications, which premieres this summer along with Royal Pains on June 18:

Mr. Robot will premiere after this summer’s season five debut of Suits on June 24:

Amped: Based on an upcoming comic book character, a family man buys a “smart pill” that goes far beyond the extra focus he thought he was buying into.

AWOL: Sleepy Hollow’s Len Wiseman executive produces and directs this story about an ex-military operative trying to get back into family life, but ends up in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles instead.

Cooley & The Tank: Go behind the scenes of a fictional 1980s crime drama and its rival stars.

Mile High: Two friends work together to capitalize on the legalized cannabis business in Colorado.

Mythos: This show is billed as a “serialized adventure” and a high-stakes drama.

Paradise Pictures: Set in 1940s Hollywood, this drama follows ambitious people in the age of the studio system.

Starchitects: From Twilight’s Catherine Hardwicke, a young architect tries to make it at a top firm in LA.

Swamplandia: Adapted from Karen Russell’s novel, this is about the family who runs “Florida’s top alligator-wrestling theme park.”

The Recessionistas: This limited series is based on the book by Wall Street executive Alexandra Lebenthal set among the 2008 financial crisis.

The Rock Untitled Project: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson brigs his talents to the network with an unscripted series still in development.

The Tap: Rob Reiner’s story starts at Yale in 1969, when a student is recruited for both he CIA and Skull and Bones.
