Time Warner Cable and Univision’s new distribution deal, announced this week, covers Univision’s existing brands as well as its anticipated new network, El Rey Network.

The new multiyear agreement gives distribution rights to Time Warner Cable for Univision’s UniMás and Galavisión, as well as Univision’s new brands Univision Deportes, Univision TLnovelas and El Rey Network, which launches in December. This makes Time Warner Cable one of the first cable providers to offer El Rey Network, the new 24-hour English-language network from filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and FactoryMade Ventures.

The deal also involved Univision’s digital content including its VOD and TV Everywhere platforms.
