Irish supergroup and 22-time Grammy winners U2 will perform live from the Sphere in Las Vegas at the 66th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4, CBS said Friday.

This marks the first-ever broadcast performance from the Sphere, which has been a sensation since it began hosting shows in September. The performance also will include a special awards presentation, CBS said, although no further information was given about that event.

The news first broke on Instagram with CBS and U2 simultaneously posting it. U2 has been performing “U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere” since September 29. The shows are slated to continue through March 2. Thus far, 413,000 people have seen the show, which has earned nearly $160 million in revenue.

Joining U2 in performing at the Grammys are Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott and the just-announced Joni Mitchell.

Fulwell 73 PRoductions are producing the Grammys for the fourth consecutive year. Ben Winson, Raj Kapoor and Jesse Collins executive produce.

Trevor Noah will host the Grammys live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 4 at 8-11:30 p.m. ET and 5-8:30 p.m. PT on CBS. The Grammys also will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount Plus.
