Showtime has finally unveiled some footage from it’s Twin Peaks revival, featuring some of the original cast members who will reprise their roles.

The 18-part limited event series picks up 25 years after the events of the original, in which inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town are stunned when homecoming queen Laura Palmer is murdered.

The latest promo shows that many of the characters have aged appropriately, including Big Ed Hurley (Everett McGill), Carl Rodd (Harry Dean Stanton), Sarah Palmer (Grace Zabriskie), Deputy Andy Brennan (Harry Goaz), Deputy Tommy “Hawk” Hill (Michael Horse), and FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan).

The teaser shows footage from the series as the premiere date grows closer. While still not revealing much, it’s more than previous promos that have focused on the musical score, and director David Lynch eating a donut in his role as FBI chief Gordon Cole.

Twin Peaks will debut with a two-part premiere on Sunday, May 21 at 9 p.m.

Showtime subscribers will immediately be able to stream the third and fourth parts before they air back-to-back starting at 9 p.m. on May 28, followed by single episodes in subsequent weeks.

Twin Peaks is written and executive produced by series creators Lynch and Mark Frost, and is executive produced by Sabrina S. Sutherland.
