TVGN, formerly TV Guide Network, is in the midst of planning seven new unscripted projects to add to its lineup. The network, co-owned by CBS and Lionsgate, is focusing its new series on celebrity and behind the scenes of Hollywood.
New projects include “Rock the Boat,” taking fans on a cruise with their favorite bands, a social media Hollywood news show, a celebrity game show and “The Story Behind,” an inside look at popular Hollywood titles.
“We have commissioned a slate of original projects that capture compelling and exciting stories of Hollywood, fandom and obsession,” said Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment and media at TVGN.
Brief Take: Formerly TV Guide Network, TVGN is continuing to cement itself as a player in unscripted fare, branding its projects around one theme: Hollywood.
