If February feels like déjà vu, you’re not alone.

The month starts off with Netflix’s Russian Doll, where Nadia (Natasha Lyonne) keeps dying, Groundhog Day-style, during a seemingly inescapable party in New York City.

Hulu also takes us back to middle school with Pen15 (Brief just realized what a seventh grader would say that spells) as Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle play versions of themselves as 13-year-old outcasts in the year 2000.

Meanwhile, TBS’ Miracle Workers explores exactly what a mess the planet is, starring Steve Buscemi as God, who’s ready to blow up his creation and start over, and Daniel Radcliffe as a low-grade angel trying to stop Earth’s destruction.

The apocalyptic theme continue as The Walking Dead returns for a season nine without Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and teenagers with superpowers have eight days to save the world in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy.

Here’s more of what Brief will be watching in February.
