In this inventive spot, Turner Sports takes viewers on a journey through March Madness via a homemade Rube Goldberg-machine that took three weeks to build in a warehouse and was captured in a single filming sequence. The spot is accompanied by a marching-band version of The Kinks’ “All Day and All of the Night,” along with perfectly timed sound effects and excited commentary. It closes with a brief cut of tournament theme song, “One Shining Moment.”
The spot debuted Friday at noon ET on truTV.
March Madness—which airs on TNT, TBS, truTV and CBS—began Friday, March 19 and the Final Four NCAA Championship will start Saturday, April 3.
