From vaginas and tea-bagging, to “a taken man bangin’ it with his hot nanny” to sum up The Sound of Music, TruTV’s trailer for scripted comedy I’m Sorry features Andrea Savage saying anything but those two apologetic words.

The series stars Savage (Veep, Episodes, Sleeping with Other People) as a seemingly confident, together comedy writer, wife and mom who exposes her inner immaturity and neuroses through unexpected life situations.

She’s coupled with her more straitlaced husband Mike (Tom Everett Scott), and their inquisitive young daughter Amelia (Olive Petrucci). Her circle also includes her writing partner Kyle (Jason Mantzoukas), her brother (Nelson Franklin) and her divorced parents (Martin Mull and Kathy Baker).

I’m Sorry is produced by Savage, Joey Slamon, Gloria Sanchez’s Jessica Elbaum, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kablamo’s Jason Zaro, Billy Rosenberg, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer.

The series premieres with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, July 12 at 10 p.m.
