truTV named Oxygen executive Puja Vohra as the network’s new SVP of Marketing & Digital on Thursday, handing her a portfolio that includes overseeing all marketing and digital strategies.
Vohra, who will report to truTV programming boss Chris Linn, has been charged with creating new campaigns to grow the truTV brand and promote the network off-air and online. She will also tackle the truTV’s multiplatform content strategy.
“Puja Vohra has a tremendous track record when it comes to successful marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, social media outreach and ad sales partnerships,” said Linn. “As we continue our work expanding and strengthening the truTV brand, she will play a vital role on truTV’s leadership team.”
At Oxygen, Vohra served as senior vice president of marketing, where she was responsible for the network’s consumer marketing and ad sales teams. She was led the development of campaigns for “Best Ink” and “Preachers of LA,” while helping monetize several freshman shows, including “The Glee Project” and “The Face.”
