A new mystery adventure drama will follow master magician and escape artist Harry Houdini and “Sherlock Holmes” creator and writer Arthur Conan Doyle as they join forces to investigate unsolved and possibly (probably) supernatural crimes.

The series stars Michael Weston (House, Six Feet Under), Stephen Mangan (Episodes), and Rebecca Liddiard (Man Seeking Woman).

From House creator and executive producer David Shore, co-executive produced and written by David Hoselton and David Titcher (The Librarians), it will premiere Monday, May 2 at 9 p.m. on Fox and the Canadian television network Global.

In the series, the real-life friends grudging work with New Scotland Yard along with Adelaide Stratton (Liddiard), the first female Constable of the London Metropolitan to solve cases nobody else can solve. Houdini (Weston) is a skeptic, while Doyle (Mangan) believes in the paranormal. The trio will take on cases that involve vampires, monsters and poltergeists … or are they a ruse to conceal a murder?

And speaking of monsters, the season finale of Lucifer will air Monday, April 25 at 9 p.m.
