Troika Media Group has hired Rob Schwartz as president of Troika Services, where he will lead the strategic growth and development of the company’s performance data and intelligence division.
With a wide range of technology and business experience, Schwartz will be responsible for developing and executing Troika Services’ business strategy as well as integrating data analytics, performance marketing and the live engagement platform FandomConnect with Troika’s creative services.
“This major addition to the team catapults Troika Media Group to a cutting-edge digital marketing company,” Dan Pappalardo, president of Troika, said in a statement. “As brands face rapidly changing consumer behaviors and increased competition, Rob’s leadership and expertise are expected to help us strengthen our end-to-end capabilities worldwide and deepen our partnerships with measurable results.”
Schwartz joins Troika from Datalot, an industry leader in digital marketing solutions, where he worked as senior vice president of business development. There, he successfully launched performance mobile marketing strategies for clients and grew the organization into a $60M business.
Prior to Datalot, he was CEO at digital consulting agency Gold Rock Media, helping clients achieve success using search, social and native advertising. Schwartz was also co-founder of Enerseek, LLC, an alternative energy company focusing on providing B2C energy solutions.
“I’m extremely excited for this opportunity to be leading as we build on the heritage of Troika,” Schwartz said, also in a statement. “As businesses continue to grapple with issues ranging from digital transformation to data-driven decision making, Troika Services will be there to drive brand equity for clients by leveraging communications across paid, owned and earned channels.”
