Ad and media executive Alejandro Lopez has been added to the roster at Troika, the branding and marketing agency with clients including ABC, Amazon, AMC, CNN and Univision. Lopez will take on the role of executive creative director, specifically working with Troika’s Marketing Innovations division, which is charged with adapting to the ever-evolving media landscape and changing consumer insights in order to execute marketing strategies for its clients.
Lopez was formerly the executive creative director at Mothership, Digital Domain and was the head of Leo Burnett’s Japan office. He’s also had a hand in founding creative agencies and startups that did work for the likes of Google, Nike and YouTube.
“Alex’s mission is to provide clients with foresight into where the media industry is going and grow audiences for brands in the entertainment and media space,” said Dan Pappalardo, founder and CEO of Troika. “Alex brings a unique set of expertise by mixing advertising and entertainment concepts, and using digital and traditional media that truly connects with consumers.”
Troika has worked on campaigns such as ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” the A&E rebrand, last year’s rebranding of Encore, as well as a recent international brand campaign for CNN called “Go There.”
